Relaxed free flowing silhouettes with clinched waists, long hem lines and classic shorter summer styles play a big part within this season. Bold animal prints along with a timeless natural palette acts as a great balanced base to this collection. Simplistic mono chrome has been carried through to the new year with small spots and wide stripes. These outfits are not only sophisticated but truly effortless, ranging from day to evening wear with lots of must have accessories to match resulting in something for every occasion.

LfW Catwalk Update: Ashish

Yet again Ashish brought a exciting collection to the table, showcasing playful slouchy styled garments. Bright oranges, pinks, purples and yellows were used for florals along with black and white backgrounds in checkerboard, stripe and harlequin patterns, resulting in funky contrasts. Playful, easy and simplistic silhouettes were covered with contrasting busy sequins, which adorned them. Bold lilies, daisies, sunflowers and dandelions played a big part within this collection along with other quirky looks such as a fun cartoon like brick pattern and flower filled boots. Paper bag waists tied with ropes and trilby hats completed the summer garden look. KTW loved this collection; we cannot wait to get our hands on these glitzy, eccentric, cartoonised summer pieces.

LFW Catwalk Update: Bora Aksu

There was a lot of excitement at Bora Aksu today, we saw heavy pleating, various drapery, restrictive skirts around the knees along with beautiful trails on unusual dresses and a range of very funky tights with a knit and net textured look. Nudes, creams and whites, were mixed in with darker tones like deep purples and dark navy blues. Whislt Pinks, reds and turquoise featured throughout clothing on key details. Bora showed a array of shirts ranging from light weight classics to shirt dresses with contrasting coloured binding. This collection continued to shows us boras experimental play with textures and creative combinational usages of fabrics, yet again resulting in unique detailing and finishings.
