 Its a Time for Celebration
First off we would like to say congratulations to The Dressing Room in St Albans for winning two awards at the drapers awards last week. They were awarded womenswear retailer of the year and the independent retailer. Here’s a pic of The Dressing Room girls (with Deryane Tadd the owner holding the award) along with Tess Daly who hosted the night and presented the girls with their much deserved awards.

Tuesday 15th November
Our absent note

No we are not  ill nor have we jumped on the nearest flight and thrown ourselves onto the comfiest beach lounger with the juiciest cocktails in one hand and the latest interesting novel in the other.

ohhhh no!

Although the thought of it does make me want to jump into a spontaneous mode and shouting au revoir to the world. We have been  super busy with our  first A/W fashion shoot (which you may want to know is being edited so we hope to share it with you very soon!)
Anyway way this is why we have been so distant and why this has almost been turned into a unpredictable pen pal experience.
So a quick run down on what's happening if you didn't already know

1.
This is a biggy so I do hope you are aware ... If not here it is.
Versace for H&Mlet me repeat
Versace for H&M

So I cant really describe in words the whole entirety of this subject so here's a few visuals to help you fill in the blanks!!

One of our favourites!

H&M colab run down!
Karl Lagerfeld, 2004
Stella McCartney 2005
Viktor & Rolf, 2006
Roberto Cavalli 2007
Mathew Williamson 2009
 Jimmy Choo 2009
Lanvin 2010
 and now Versace 2011

Lets not beat around the bush or lie to one another about some some (highlighted for a purpose) of the past designs... they have not all been ... what we would of hoped for ... high in quality ... theeee best ?!?
But we are looking forward to this one and hope ( fingers crossed this one will be a well rounded success)

Its happening on the 17th of November so Thursdays its taking place in 300 stores world wide and online at 9am as well.

( I have just realised these two events are ending this thursday so pull up your boots!)

Tuesday 8th November
Layer up!!

Only someone in complete hibernation would not know its absolutely freezing outside so yes its time to wrap up and layer up!
A/W is a personally my favourtie season as it allows me to layering wrap up into a little bundle of fashion everyday! So to celebrate this awesome season we are shooting a A/W story featuring not only some of the best up and coming designers but some of our more established brands. To kick off the layering love train I've got this layered trollbead necklace with a combination of chains and beads this particular design has a slight gothic look which we at KTW love. Everyone likes to stack a few bracelets and we have found thes little beauts from Gina Stewart Cox.
This knitwear piece is from Silverflint which is now available at Anthropology, this cardi is part of a collection made up from luxurious cotton and cashmeres.

Thursday 3rd November
G-Star Raw!!

Worldwide G-star opened late for womens night. Focusing their attention completely on their female customers, the women were treated to advise on the perfect jeans and styling tips and ideas for their latest collections. DJ Hattie Ashdown set the G-star ambience while drinks bites were on hand along with hair styling bu Sean Hanna make-up by Benefit and nails by Butter London. This collaboration with Instyle was a huge success but dont worry if you missed the event  all products from the night and styling help is at hand at your nearest store.
