Brand update:COS
MODERNIST SLEEK WITH A RETRO AIR
Modernist sleek with a retro air are the exact words that sum up the COS Autumm Winter collection. Still keeping to their clean modernist style cos has added a retro edge, creating a boyish prep meets girly prim look for this season.
My favourite outfit ( 5th row, to the right ) Is everything I would want from COS this season. Playing with design perceptions, this outfit is precise in shape but still unique, cleverly soft but sharp at a glance, a uniquely enhanced tailored outfit that makes perfect sense and will definitely stand out from the crowd.
This collection features contrasting colours, clever mixing of fabrics such as scuba fabric and cotton combos, whilst constantly playing with the retro and modernist trend resulting in a collection full with must have pieces. But not to worry the brand are still keeping it COS with clever pattern cutting for a great silhoutte and original look.
Sneak Peek at: Ivana Basilotta A/W catwalk show
Held at Home House one of London's exclusive private members' clubs, Ivana hosted a intimate evening showcasing her A/W 'Mystery of Women 'collection. Seeing the collection up close for the first time was fantastic, Terri Capon from belle of the ball hair created hair styles fit for Grecian goddesses from fish plaits to tousled buns. Soft sheer silks and luxury cottons were beautifully draped over female figures, some garments cascaded down to the floor others gathered at the waist with a shorter hem line. All the garments were glamourous with a relaxed silhouette. The collection was made up of divine dresses, gorgeous playsuits and captivating separate. So after after a great night we would like to thank Ivana for a evening full of tasty cocktails, cute canapes, relaxing massages and beautiful clothes.
