Upping there game every year UCA Epsom kicked off the second day of GFW with a bang. Showing their one too watch Epsom showed creativity throughout the show with a exciting variety of mens and womenswear. Two students from the university made it through to the semi final. Rachel Evans and Jungo kuroiwa waved the flag for Epsom, fighting against eight other students to win the £20,000 prize a prize that any budding designer could do with in their back pocket. Harriet Edmunds opened the show with her bright and fun collection displaying brillant color blocking, cutesty play suits and mini dresses with patterned panels. My personal highlight from her collection was her pink, yellow and white laser cut floral coat. Inspired by westernisation of Japan, Rachel Evans collection was made up of well executed draping, frills and good usage of pastel colours. Howra El Sekaifi's collection was another highlight featuring fur, wool and fringing with embossed and punched leather panels. We loved Dora Acquaviva White suit its everything any modern girl would want in a suit. Charlotte 'Chuck' Mclennan took us to the wild side with her safari themed collection collection which was a definite crowd pleaser. Our favorite garment was Charlotte's Zebra inspired coat, complete with swishing tail. Epsom Uca is the home to alot of talent and yet again they have proved it with their innovative designs this year .
